If you look at CBP sources the code for physics simulation is very simple. SMP can attach physics to (almost) any bone. CBPC is just for a few predefined. Thats why CBPC will not work for things like clothes and hair, but SMP will.

Basically, if your physics calculus take less time that the unrelated part of the skyrim main loop, it doesn't slow that loop anymore; if it takes more time, the Skyrim exe will wait for it, still it's way less fps lost than running them one after another. This problem happened with just SOS and installing Faster HDT-SMP (or the original HDT-SMP as well.) Not much really irritates me, but this does affect scenes since they are so high up they sort of disappear into the body or act in weird ways with female collisions in certain positions since the balls themselves have collision files.Oct 22, 2021 · When CTDs occurred, Faster HDT-SPM was loaded after 3BA and I had a setup SMP and CBPC full (breasts, butt, thighs, calves, genitals), so this mod was overwriting plenty of 3BA's .xml files.
